About DevToolBox
DevToolBox is a set of small developer utilities that run entirely inside your browser. It is published at tools.inhere-trading.com by Inhere Trading, the same team behind the crypto and currency calculators at inhere-trading.com.
Why another toolbox?
Most online JSON formatters, Base64 decoders and password generators send your input to a server. That is a problem the moment the thing you are pasting is an API key, a JWT, a customer record or a production configuration file. DevToolBox was built around one rule: nothing you type is transmitted anywhere.
Parsing, encoding, generation and counting all happen in JavaScript on your own machine. You can open your browser’s network tab and confirm that no request carries your input.
What is included
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| JSON Formatter & Validator | Pretty-prints minified JSON, minifies readable JSON, and reports the exact location of syntax errors. |
| Base64 Encoder / Decoder | Converts text to Base64 and back, with correct UTF-8 handling for non-ASCII characters. |
| Password Generator | Builds random passwords using the browser’s cryptographic random number generator, with configurable length and character classes. |
| URL Encoder / Decoder | Percent-encodes and decodes query strings and path segments. |
| Word & Character Counter | Counts words, characters and estimated reading time for drafts. |
How it stays private
- No accounts, no sign-in, no usage tracking of the content you paste.
- No server round trip for any transformation.
- Random values are produced with
crypto.getRandomValues(), notMath.random(). - Standard web server logs record requests to the page, but never the content of the page’s input fields.
Editorial policy
The written guides are produced by hand by the same people who maintain the tools. We do not publish sponsored reviews or paid placements inside the editorial sections. Advertising is served by Google AdSense and is clearly separated from the tool interfaces.
Corrections and feedback
If a tool misbehaves, or a guide contains an error, please get in touch. Include the browser you used and, where relevant, the exact input that produced the problem.
Disclaimer
The tools are provided as-is for convenience. Always validate output before using it in a production system, and never paste production secrets into any online tool you have not audited. See the Terms of Use.
